My eye for design was pieced together somewhere between an English degree and a window display. Before product and UX/UI design I worked in makeup, studied literature with plans to write, and spent time dressing mannequins and building out retail and window installations.The through line in all of it was the same thing that pulled me into product design: an eye trained to notice what's working, what's off, and why. In that time I’ve held the same belief: good design doesn't have to feel like it cost someone their soul to make.
